Complete Doula Support Package
1 FREE non-obligatory interview before hire (1 hour)
Phone, email, and/or text correspondence concerning questions or resources for the duration of your pregnancy and 4 weeks postpartum

2 meetings (2 hours each) around weeks 35 and 37 held usually at your home where the focus is to discuss your unique priorities, preferences, excitements, concerns and questions. I will assist you in developing birth preferences specific to your wants and needs. I use this time to also guide you toward evidence-based knowledge concerning the birth process, your options and considerations in your specific birth setting, comfort measures and progress measures, initial breastfeeding shortly after baby is born, as well as ways to make confident, informed decisions if any new information arises in your pregnancy or birth.
On-call status beginning at 38 weeks until birth
Phone and text support at the onset of labor until I am asked to join you at your home or at your birth space
Continuous birth support throughout birth and immediate postpartum (up to 2 hours after birth)
Availability to capture photos and videos of your birth and first moments
1 Postpartum follow-up visit within the first 2 weeks of birth to process your experience and guide to resources of interest (approx 1 hour)

Mini Doula Support Package

Description:
This package is unique to families who do not plan to hire a doula to attend their birth. I provide similar education and preparation as I do prenatally with Birth clients…without the on-call presence of a Doula at the time of birth. I come to you at your family’s home for two visits later in your third trimester where I aid in equipping and instilling confidence in both the mother and her support team with tools to approach your birth feeling emotionally, mentally and physically prepared. We specifically cover the areas of:
+ birth comfort techniques
+ education about the birth process as it relates to comfort and progress
+ relevant options available in your birth place
+ decision making aids
+ basic initial breastfeeding tips
+ topics unique to your pregnancy, birth and preferences (pain meds, induction, VBAC etc…).

Chat Pack

Sit down for a one-on-one conversation with a birth support professional to discuss your questions, options, resources and/or concerns. Pick my brain about making your birth a positive experience and walk away with information and tools to apply to your upcoming birth. The content of our conversation is tailored to your unique needs and I will come prepared based on your requests. Areas of which I can provide information might include:
+ birth education resources (courses, books, online platforms)
+ birth options
+ natural comfort/progress techniques
+ pain relief options
+ VBAC
+ C-sections
+ tips for partners
+ induction methods (natural or medical)
+ optimal fetal positioning

Compassion Doula Support Package
In the circumstance of pregnancy and infant loss OR of a diagnosis (whether terminal or requiring NICU assistance), I can work with families to customize support through the preparations and birth experience of their baby to help make a hard day the best day possible.
1 non-obligatory meeting before hire
Though this can be bypassed under unexpected circumstances
Phone, email, and/or text correspondence concerning questions or resources for the duration of your pregnancy
Reference to resources of interest – convenient and educational resources provided to you throughout the preparation of birth
2 scheduled prenatal meetings where the focus is to discuss your unique priorities, preferences, concerns and questions. I will assist you in developing birth preferences specific to your wants and needs. I use this time to also guide you toward evidence-based education in the birth process, techniques to help walk you through the unique process of your birth, breastfeeding/bottle feeding resources, NICU preparedness as well as help you become familiar with ideas that can help these processes. We also talk about ways to help make confident, informed decisions if any new information arises in your pregnancy or birth.
If this is an impromptu hire and you are near birth, these meetings are obviously bypassed and I will supply a brief intake to generally understand your situation.
On-call status beginning two weeks before expected arrival (customizable to circumstance)
Continuous birth support throughout birth and immediate postpartum (usually up to 2 hours after birth)
A back-up doula group in place in the event I have an emergency or am ill and I am unable to attend your birth.
Availability to capture photos and videos of your birth and first moments
1 Postpartum follow-up visit within the first 2 weeks of birth to review your experience and guide to resources of interest.
For driving distances 30+ miles from my home, I charge a flat mileage fee based upon the distance anticipated to travel for prenatal and postpartum meetings. Mileage driven for birth support is complimentary. Fee is consistent with Federal mileage rate. Please email me for details.
